PRAYING WITH LIOR - The Documentary Film -- was made possible only by the generous support of numerous folks and foundations. We are now gearing up to create and implement PRAYING WITH LIOR - The Outreach Campaign, to educate and inspire faith communities to look at the numbers of people with disabilities who are missing from their midsts, and to create a place of welcoming.

We need funds to commission a teacher's guide, to make this website interactive so people with special needs can share information, to put on workshops at ordaining clerical institutions, and to sponsor panel discussions and screenings across the country. You can sponsor a program in your community! Producer/ Director Ilana Trachtman will host a screening and lead a discussion about the power of inclusion, the journey of the film, and innovative approaches to inclusion in your community. Lior is very special, but his story is not unique. We want to tell the stories of many other "special" Bar Mitzvahs - to share their beauty, and to offer inspiration and practical ideas for families of individuals with special needs planning for Bar Mitzvah.
